On3 knows that cutting costs and making good on the services they offer isn't always believed until it is seen. That's why it is all the more satisfying when a growing company like Oakland Book Services chooses On3 for further work when an original contract goes well…

Wowed by the fast response to an urgent short term hire need, this start-up company soon purchased a Doosan B15T of their very own.

The Doosan electric has proved incredibly popular with UK businesses wanting a low cost, capable truck that's manoeuvrable and suited to smaller indoor working environments.

With an expanding workload, not to mention an impressive array of expensive printing kit and stock, On3 followed up the truck supply with new pallet racking, giving the Gloucestershire business three times the amount of storage. Managing Director Rod Colebrook said: "The installation crew from On3 did a fantastic job. They completed the work on time, cleaned up after themselves and kept us informed throughout."

Working closely with the company on their requirements, On3 were even able to reduce the cost of the racking by switching to a three pallets per beam set up.

With fewer uprights, the costs were reduced by around 10 per cent, yet storage capacity was maximised. With a growing, successful business printing nostalgic UK and European books, Oakland already looks set to expand in future from their original Gloucestershire site.

On3's Rob Jefferies said: "With larger, more complicated businesses, it is pretty easy to see where costs can be cut, but it probably means more to a new company like this that is in the first few years of trading."

" We're very proud of our customer service focus and hearing that we've done a good job is extremely gratifying. I'm sure that Oakland will continue to build on an already impressive set-up and I hope we are there to help in the future when that happens."
